A Fantastic Tour 10 days Tangier to Marrakech begins with a visit to Tangier’s Hercules Cave before heading to Chefchaouen, the famous blue city in the Rif Mountains. The journey continues to Volubilis, an ancient Roman site, then to Meknes and Fes, where you’ll explore historical landmarks and immerse yourself in the vibrant medinas. From Fes, you’ll travel to Merzouga, where you’ll experience a camel ride and a night in a desert camp. The tour then takes you to Todgha Gorge and Dades Valley, known for their stunning landscapes. You’ll visit the Ait Ben Haddou village, a UNESCO World Heritage site, before reaching Marrakech, where you’ll explore its vibrant souks and iconic landmarks. A day trip to Essaouira, a charming seaside town, is included, and you’ll have a free day in Marrakech for optional activities. The tour concludes with a transfer to Marrakech Airport.
On the first day of your Tour 10 days from Tangier 10 days trip, we will pick you up at your requested pick-up point. The tour will start with a drive to one of the most famous sights in Tangier – Hercules Cave. Afterwards, we continue towards Chefchaouen called the blue town while enjoying the breathtaking views of the Rif Mountains. The blue city of Chefchaouen is a photographer’s dream, where you will have your first experience of true Moroccan culture. Overnight in Chefchaouen.
Enjoy breakfast in your Riad, after which our journey will begin towards Volubilis. We will pass through Ouazzane and other Rif villages. In Volubilis, we will stop to explore the Roman ruins and learn about this fascinating archaeological site. From Volubilis, we will make our way to Meknes – the Capital City of the 17th Century, rich in history and true Moroccan culture. After a stop for lunch, we will visit Moulay Ismail’s Mausoleum and the spectacular Bab El Mansour. You will be amazed by the huge historical walls of the medina. Upon departing from Meknes, we will travel directly to Fez, where you will spend the night.
Today you will enjoy a guided tour through the oldest city in Morocco – walking its alleys and small streets. The day will start with a visit to the fabulous Royal Palace Gates. You will get to explore the Jewish Quarter – the first Mellah ever established (circa. 1438). You will be astonished by the medina, which houses vibrant souks, craftsmen, and some of the oldest religious schools in Morocco. Enjoy a trip to the iconic leather tannery, built in the 11th century. A visit to the pottery co-operative where you will witness the ancient art of zellige being practised will make the day complete. Return to your Riad for a final night in Fes.
Today, we will have an early start making our way towards the Sahara Desert. We will pass through Ifrane, where we will take a short break to enjoy its beauty. Later on, we drive you via the cedar forest where monkeys live.
You take a stop for pictures. Upon reaching Midelt, we will stop for a lunch break. After lunch, we will cross the Tizi n Talghamt pass, at an elevation of 2 054 metres – an amazing photographic opportunity. Enjoy the awe-inspiring views of the Ziz Gorges and Valley. From there, we will pass through Errachidia and continue on through Aoufous and Erfoud – the capital of fossils. Upon arrival at the hotel in Merzouga, you will prepare for an hour and a half long camel ride, where you will take in the stunning sunset on the dunes of Erg Chebbi. After sunset, you will be taken to your desert camp, where you will enjoy a traditional dinner and spend the night in a nomad tent.
Wake up early to enjoy a Sahara Desert sunrise. You will enjoy a peaceful camel ride back to your hotel on the edge of the dunes. Take some time to appreciate the unique beauty of the Erg Chebbi dunes in the first morning light. After breakfast and a shower, our trip will take a new direction towards the Todgha Gorges – a series of limestone river canyons, and a great destination for rock climbers. Take a stroll through the gorges and enjoy a light lunch. The journey continues along the valley of Dades where you will be taken to your Riad for dinner and some well-deserved rest.
Today we will begin by travelling on the Road of a thousand Kasbahs to reach the valley of the Roses . Enjoy the beautiful gardens along the road mainly in May. You will head towards Ouarzazate city and onwards to Ait Ben Haddou village. The place has an impressive ksar in the South of Morocco and it is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The village of Ait ben haddou is a popular filming location for movies and television series. Take a break for lunch in this most unique location. After lunch, we will continue on towards Marrakech, crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass. We will stop to take in the panoramic views of the beautiful valleys and Berber Villages. Arrival in Marrakech in the late afternoon. Check into the hotel.

Explore the Saadian Tombs, take in the beauty of the Majorelle Gardens, and lose yourself in the medina. You will have a free evening, to enjoy the various activities offered in the Djemaa el Fna Square – be mesmerized by the snake charmers, be hypnotized by the local music and enjoy Moroccan food and culture at its best. This 18th Century seaside town is a popular tourist destination. The portuguese setllers called it Mogador and it is a charming small town along the Atlantic coast. It is know as a destination for surfing and for local handicrafts. After arrival in Essaouria, you will have free time to walk along the beach and experience the Atlantic Coast of Morocco. Take time to enjoy the beautifully carved wood furniture and smaller art craft items. After a relaxing afternoon in Essaouria, we will travel back to Marrakech, where you will again spend the night.
You are free to explore Marrakech on your own today. If you prefer, we can arrange a variety of activities for you to enjoy – a cooking class with a Berber family, a trip to the Ouzoud Waterfalls, or even a relaxing visit to a Hamman (steam room).
You will be picked up at your Riad, and taken to the Airport, to make your journey back home.
