Itinerary

Day 1:FeZ – Merzouga

Our tour begins from Fez at 08:00 am – we will pick you up at your place of choice.  Our first stop will be in Ifran – the “Switzerland of Morocco”.  An area characterised by its Alpine-style architecture and winter ski slopes.  We will then make our way to the biggest Cedar forest in Africa, near Azrou, where you will get to see and interact with wild Barbary Macaque apes.  Onward towards the Sahara Desert, we will make our way through many beautiful areas, stopping along the way to enjoy the panoramic views, and take photos.  Upon arrival in Merzouga, you will check into your hotel, for dinner and peaceful night’s rest.

Day 2:merzouga sightseeing

Today you will explore the numerous activities in and around Merzouga.  We will visit a local Berber family for a hearty lunch of the local speciality – Berber pizza.  After enjoying some Gnaoua music in Khamlia, you will prepare for your camel ride into the desert.  Your luggage will be stored overnight in a hotel safe room.  Your camel ride into the dunes is approximately 90 minutes long.  You will stop along the way to watch the sunset over the mighty dunes of Erg Chebbi.  You will then spend the night in a Berber tented camp.  The camp is equipped with several tents, beds and covers, flushing toilets, and showers.  You will dine on a traditional feast for dinner, after which you will be entertained by some Berber-style music around the campfire.

Day 3:merzouga – tafraoute

Wake up early to see the most stunning sunrise of your lifetime.  Enjoy an early-morning camel ride back to the hotel, where you can freshen up and have breakfast.  This morning we will be heading to Taouz – a small town with only around 800 inhabitants.  The region is known for its mineral formations and dinosaur bones.  Hunter-gatherers of days gone by left their mark here in the form of rock carvings.  This will conclude our time in the Sahara Desert.  Our next stop will be for lunch, in the village of Ramlia.  After lunch, we will make our way to Tafroute Sidi Ali – known as the destination of fossils and minerals.  Here, you will spend the night.

Day 4:TAFRAOUTE SIDI ALI – DADES VALLEY

We will be driving to the next destination via Fezzou, Alnif then continues to Todgha Gorges which is the destination of rock climbers, where you will have around 30 minutes to explore the gorge. Lunch will be whenever and wherever you want, the driver will let you know the options that you have. In the afternoon you will continue to Dades Valley to see the rock formation, called by locals monkey toes. Then to the hotel in this valley with dinner and breakfast.

Day 5:Dades valley – Rose valley – Skora OASIS – OUARZAZATE – TIZI N TICHKA Marrakech

After our breakfast in the hotel, we will continue our trip toward Marrakech via the rose valley, Skoura oasis known as a road of thousands Kasbahs. Then the Atlas Corporation Studios where many movies been filmed, counting the Gladiator, the prince of Persia, After that, we head on to Ait Benhaddou Kasbah the famous kasbah in the region of Ouarzazate, After that crossing the high Atlas Mountains toward your hotel in Marrakech.
